In Selangor, a man with a Datuk title was remanded for three days beginning today in connection to a gold investment fraud case involving losses amounting to nearly RM900,000.

In Selangor, a man with a Datuk title was remanded for three days beginning today in connection to a gold investment fraud case involving losses amounting to nearly RM900,000.
The remand order until Monday was issued by the Petaling Jaya Magistrate's court to facilitate investigations into the alleged scam.
If found guilty, the 51-year-old man can be jailed for 15 years and a fine.
The man was arrested yesterday evening in Hulu Kelang, Selangor after a police report was lodged by a 62-year-old pensioner.
It was alleged the suspect had convinced the victim to invest RM895,512 in a company by promising a monthly profit of more than RM50,000.
